| Our custom built choppers start out with an idea discussed between the customer and Todd Rancourt, the master bike builder behind RMS. Todd talks with the customer and comes up with a design according to the customers wishes. He asks questions along the lines of what kind of riding, how often, how far, how long, whether there will ever be a passenger, and the style of chopper - tall, short, long and so on. And, of course, the budget. Then the paint is discussed. Perhaps a theme, or flames, graphics, murals. There is no limit on designs. Todd offers you choices on many of the parts going into your custom chopper, such as wheels, grips and pegs, controls, mirrors, motors, trannys, pipes and more. Then he puts a four page spec list together, listing all of the parts and an optional upgrade, as well as price, build time and a full two year warranty. As we have stated, our choppers are not a one-size-fits-all. Our choppers are built to the owner/driver's measurements, to insure many hours of riding pleasure. We build the frame and handlebars to fit you like a glove. As with any business, we have learned the do's and don'ts of building choppers. At RMS, we are at the forefront of chopper design.
